Storm Trysail Club and Margaritaville Holdings today announced that for the second time, Margaritaville, the global lifestyle brand known for escapism and fun, will be the presenting sponsor of the 29th edition of Block Island Race Week, one of the largest and most prestigious big boat regatta in the United States.

With 81 boats already registered for Storm Trysail Club’s 29th Block Island Race Week presented by Margaritaville, the 2021 edition is shaping up to be one of the biggest turnouts in recent years.

The North Light Society is for those sailors and volunteers who have participated in at least five Storm Trysail Club Block Island Race Weeks, with graduating levels for the ten and fifteen regatta nautical-milestones.

Coastal Classic Will Feature Popular Two-Course Format; COVID-19 Safety Protocols Added

Co-Presented by the Storm Trysail Club and the Riverside Yacht Club September 19 and 20th, 41 local boats and race committee volunteers from the two clubs came out for the annual event culminating in three races over the two days.

The 2020 IOR has been cancelled due to restrictions on organized college sports by universities. A photo contest is launched to reminisce with a free Safety-at-Sea Seminar up for grabs.
