The 2025 edition of the Block Island Race showed what this sport is made of.

Since 1996, over 10,000 sailors and 200 events have been trained through STC SaS training, and last week another 100 added to that number.

This new award recognizing extraordinary acts of seamanship, rescue, and safety was presented in recognition of her exceptional leadership and calm execution during a man overboard recovery last summer.
