The Storm Trysail Foundation is once again presenting the Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta at Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont, NY, on October 8-9, 2016. The IOR is the largest collegiate big boat regatta in the US where in 2016 nearly 50 teams from the US, Canada and Europe will compete in three one design divisions (J/44, J/109 and J/105) as well as IRC and PHRF handicap divisions.

This invitational event is designed for boat owners to race with the collegiate teams, providing any required coaching on all racing aspects except for tactics. The IOR allows those team members with substantial big boat expertise to come together and compete outside of their dinghy racing schedule, and to start other team members on their transition to post-collegiate big boat racing.
