Rules guru Dave Perry was joined by STC Members for a 90-minute Zoom presentation on the newly enacted changes to the Racing Rules of Sailing. Dave reviewed new definitions, changes in Part 2 When Boats Meet, and a detailed explanation of some new parts of the RRS that will dictate how you submit (and survive) protest hearings. A spirited Q&A session followed Dave’s presentation. Those Members who have contacted STC over the past few days have made is abundantly clear that this free-for-Members Rules seminar is the manner of program is great and represents one of the reasons they are STC Members.

Watch for more interactive Member-only programs in the future as the Club continues bring to its Members interesting, educational, and often entertaining events. Monday night’s Dave Perry presentation was all three!
