Preliminary Circle Assignments have been made for Block Island Race Week 2019. They can be viewed on Yacht Scoring. We are looking forward to great competition by offering a variety of options to suit our diverse fleet.

Note that IRC and ORC classes on the Red Circle are competing in "Solent Style" racing which means racing will consist of one or two windward-leeward races followed by a longer “Solent style” race around drop marks and government buoys. The Solent style racing emulates the format found at Cowes Week, the original model for BIRW. PHRF on the Blue Circle is a mix of W/L for some and Pursuit Navigator's Races for others. Lastly, the White Circle is for our One-Design fleets with drop mark W/L Courses.
