Started sailing in the junior sailing program at IHYC. As a dock rat, I soon became an emergency substitute crew on Carina in 1970. Since then I have enjoyed ocean racing on both sides of the Atlantic. In 1974, at age 19, I skippered the family Swan 48 in the Bermuda Race. To date I have completed 15+ Bermuda Races, 7 Fastnet Races and 5 transatlantic races or passages. I currently enjoy cruising on our Little Harbor 38. I am a member of STC, CCA, NYYC, RORC and IHYC.
