SAFETY AT SEA SEMINAR

Houston Yacht Club

April 10th (Virtual) & Sept 25th/26th (In-Person)

Due to the lingering pandemic STC has restructured the Gulf Coast Safety at Sea event into three parts:

  • Part I is online with US Sailing and STC Videos
  • Part II on April 10th 2021 will be a ½ day Zoom event
  • Part III for those on Tract 2 with World Sailing Hands On Offshore Safety certification will receive training over the weekend September 25th & 26th at Houston YC. Therefore please Update Your Calendars! (Note: there has been a change in venue to Houston YC)

If you held your March registration over, you do not need to do anything. If you canceled, then please consider re-booking for either Tract I or Tract II. Registration is available below.

We look forward to getting back to a sense of normality and offering this important training to the sailing community.

The Storm Trysail Club in partnership with Houston Yacht Club will be hosting the second Gulf Coast US Sailing Sanctioned Hands-On Safety-at-Sea training event on Saturday / Sunday September 25th and 26th, 2021, with the support of the Storm Trysail Foundation, Houston Yacht Club and the Galveston Bay Cruising Association.
